How SpeedLee makes money

SpeedLee is a virtual shopping mall: we help you discover and compare products from lots of different retailers in one place. We don't sell anything ourselves.

Some of the retailer links on SpeedLee are commercial links. If you follow an eligible link and make a qualifying purchase, SpeedLee may receive a commission from the retailer or their affiliate network.

We currently work with affiliate networks including Awin and Rakuten Advertising. That commission is paid by the retailer or network out of their own margin — it isn't added to your basket, so it doesn't increase the price you pay.

SpeedLee doesn't earn commission from every product, every retailer or every transaction, and different retailers pay different rates. Plenty of what you see on SpeedLee earns us nothing at all. Commission is never a separate charge added to what you pay the retailer.

The retailer remains responsible for the purchase itself: checkout, payment, delivery, returns and customer service. SpeedLee isn't the seller.

SpeedLee does not rank products based on how much affiliate commission they pay us. Search, Trending and Sale are ordered by things like how well a product matches what you asked for, how recently it was updated, real shopper interest signals, the size of the reduction, and keeping a fair mix of retailers so one brand doesn't dominate a page.

There are no paid placements, sponsored products or retailer bidding on SpeedLee. We do earn money from these retailer relationships, so we're not financially independent of retailers — but nobody can pay to be ranked higher.

SpeedCoins are a separate shopping reward feature linked to eligible activity at participating retailers. 100 SpeedCoins = £1 of reward value. The full SpeedCoins rules live in the Terms & Conditions.

Where SpeedLee publishes commercial or affiliate content on external platforms such as social media, we aim to use appropriate advertising disclosures there too.
